Enough

They come at night when all is still,
Those images and scenarios on repeat.
They're only "what ifs" but oh so real.
My stomach is all in knots.

He said on that hill,
to the listening crowds,
'Don't worry, children,
about what you shall wear.
Don't worry about food,
Don't have even one little care.
Your Father, He loves you more than the birds and the lilies.
They have more than they need,
So you child, just rest.
Your Father will clothe you and feed you,
He does it so well.
Because for you,
He knows what is best.'

In the middle of the night,
When the shadows creep in.
Fear may grip you,
And you feel yourself sinking.
Don't you realize,
He is ENOUGH,
Walking beside you,
Holding your hand.
